Sims 4 Sanrio Legacy Challenge Part 2

Welcome to the second part of my Sims 4 Sanrio Legacy Challenge, simmers! Much like part one, each generation is inspired by a different character. The characters included this time around are: Big Challenges, Cinnamoroll, Littleforestfellow, Usahana, Pompompurin, Wish Me Mell, Retsuko, Pekkle, Chococat, and Kuromi.

Is one of your favorites missing from both this list and from part one? Let me know in a comment below so I’ll have enough characters to create part three! Now, onto the challenge…

Big Challenges

Big Challenges is starting us off with some challenges of his own: this isolated loner has the soul of a daredevil. Can your sim overcome their fear of other people in order to enjoy the world’s natural thrills?

One of my favorite characters of the franchise, Big Challenges is a silly guy who had little going on until his role in Hello Kitty Island Adventure. His time spent trapped, frozen in a mountain was the main inspiration for this generation’s personality. Once thawed and freed, Big Challenges loves to receive books, particularly a book on meditation; this is why your sim will level up their wellness skill by reading as one of your goals.

(Though this is the first generation, we’re listing it as generation eleven for less confusion with the graphics between each part.)

Cinnamoroll

Cinnamoroll has been the leading fan favorite of the Sanrio Character Ranking for the last several years, and is on track to continue his reign in the good year of 2025. This little sweetie works at a cafe, so your sim will progress through the barista career before ultimately taking on the mixology branch of the culinary career. Aside from being a coffee fanatic, the pup loves to dance!

Littleforestfellow

This sweetheart is honestly pretty mysterious, outside of some limited information that My Melody has shared about him. As the younger cousin of My Melody who loves to play with her, I gave this generation the family oriented and childish traits. Since Littleforestfellow values the hood that his cousin passed down to him, I added some knitting related goals with the thought that your sim would want to pass clothing down to a child/children as well. Additionally, he enjoys collecting buttons, so why not “collect” some things as a kleptomaniac?

U * SA * HA * NA

Usahana is a helpful, colorful friend. This generation’s sim will reflect these traits by being a caring, generous neighbor with a cheery, vibrant home! Your sim will focus on the baking and dancing skills because Usahana loves baking sweets and dreams of becoming a ballerina. With a career in social media, your sim will spread happiness to thousands. Usahana is like a good neighbor to the whole world!

Pompompurin

This pudding-lovin’ pup loves napping and eating, but due to his job on the Dessert Boat in Hello Kitty Island Adventure, we’ve sent this generation down the culinary aspiration and career--served with a side of max baking skill. Even though Pompompurin’s schedule is full of baking and napping, he also loves going out with friends, which is why your sim should make an effort to attend festivals and hangout with friends a few times each week!

Wish Me Mell

A clumsy yet endearing rabbit, Wish Me Mell hid from the public eye until coaxed out by the support of friends. Your romantically reserved, loner sim encapsulates this character's shyness. She loves writing letters and tending the flowers of Merry Meadow, corresponding to your sim’s skills of writing, gardening, and flower arrangement. This generation deserves a beautiful garden in honor of the lovely character we pull inspiration from!

Retsuko

Retsuko is a relatable character with a frustrating career who tries her best to unwind through her passion outside of work. Though calm and polite at her office job, her surprising and potentially scary talent is that she sings death metal to let go of all tension and rage! Your polite yet hot-headed sim will perform at karaoke bars just like Retsuko.

Pekkle

This sim is musically inclined like their heavy metal parent, with a passion for singing and playing the piano. Based on Pekkle the tap dancing duck, this generation loves to dance in addition to their musical talents. You know what pairs well with all this energy and entertainment? A party, of course! This sim never misses an opportunity to rock out with friends, on the stage or out on the dance floor!

Your Pekkle-themed should stay busy maxing out skills, making friends, and partying! But life can’t be all play, so you’ll also work as a lifeguard. Fun fact: even though Pekkle wants to be a lifeguard, he struggles with swimming!

Chococat

Chococat is an adventurous, knowledgeable fellow. He has learned many skills from reading and exploring, and your sim will do the same while exploring several careers to complete the Renaissance Sim aspiration. I chose engineer, scientist, and astronaut as the careers because Chococat is basically the engineer and scientist of Hello Kitty Adventure Island, and astronaut seems like a great profession for someone who loves to stargaze. As an added challenge, explore two additional careers!

Kuromi

Everyone’s favorite frenemy, the mischievous and boy crazy Kuromi, represents the final generation of this challenge. As a twist, this multifaceted queen has two routes for you to choose from. You can follow Kuromi’s dream of gaining fame as a pop superstar, or you can become a spellcaster and potion crafter adjacent to Kuromi’s role in Hello Kitty Island Adventure. Whether you seek fame or magic, one thing remains the same: this sim is making time for love! Don’t forget to go on at least five dates.

This brings us to the end of part two of my Sanrio Legacy Challenge. Remember that you always have the option to mix and match which ten generations you’d prefer to play through between the two parts, given that the generations are based only on the characters that represent them.

If you attempt either of these challenges, I’d love to hear your thoughts. You may even beat me to completing parting two! Here’s a link to part one if you missed it. If you’d like to see any other Sanrio characters in a third part to this challenge, those suggestions are more than welcome in the comments below. Happy simming!
